StoreDot is the nanotech start-up that takes the initiative to develop this ultra-fast battery charger. StoreDot claims that the Galaxy S5 battery went from almost empty to 100% within less than two minutes. The Israel-based company revealed the battery-charging prototype during Think Next Conference in Tel Aviv. In a demo, StoreDot showed its new device can be able to fully charge an empty Samsung Galaxy in 2 minutes. But up to now, the StoreDot charger is compatible only with Samsung's last-gen handset. StoreDot says that it is aiming to get its new technology compatible with other smartphones. Even though this technology seems to be promising, the new StoreDot device will not hit store shelves very soon. But the company has already started discussions with the big Smartphone manufacturer to make "some modifications" to their devices in order to accommodate the battery. .
